Kirwin family:

Living in the Washington D. C. area, one can see and appreciate the contributions that servicemembers have made during WWII by visiting the various memorials and attending some of the patriotic ceremonies. I have never met John Kirwin, though I believe that I have indeed seen him in my classmate, Bill. Your father's memory will live on in the manner that his future generations live. That can never be engraved in stone and reason you can be so proud. Warm regards.

Cindi, Thanks for the kind words. Dad did all the work. I just reported it, as you well know. All the Kirwins and Harrisons were good customers at A&H. When I think of an example of a great service station I think of your family's operation. If you need any other information, please contact Bill Kirwin or me.

Thanks for posting this about your dad. He was a good customer at A & H Marathon. My dad was a combat infantryman in the Pacific. He didn't talk about it either. Chances are they never talked together about their WWII service either. Bryan Conklin told me about this. Jan Passmore, UC graduate, has inquired also. I hope to learn more about this special day in UC.
